A European, itinerant and multidisciplinary project : artistic, scientific and cultural research-creation. Call for tender in September 2023 for a realization in 2024/26.

A European project to create, experiment and act for the cultural Europe of today and tomorrow : Geneva, Lausanne, Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Brussels, Luxembourg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Rome, Milan, Barcelona, Lisbon, Athens...

Duration : 3 years (2023 - 2026)
Characteristics : laboratory-factory, interactive and multidisciplinary
Starting point : there are universal subjects but each body is unique
Concept : Fabrik a corps is a laboratory factory for research and reflection on the body as an object of consumption.

The body factory refers in part to Andy Warhol's The Factory and to the idea of the laboratory and consumption. The project looks at the different ways of conceiving our bodies and tries to explain the process.

Fabrik, in the sense of 'factory', is the place for reflection, confrontation of ideas and the construction of a representation of the body as an object of consumption. Because there are several individuals, several bodies, several relationships, Fabrik a Corps appears as a laboratory where reflections are transformed into multiple artistic proposals.

Meeting, exchanging, investigating the body as an object of consumption in order to question, create a cultural and artistic project, a project that is multiple, complex, contradictory and yet recognizable as the red thread that would weave our vision of the project to be written on the basis of: investigation, meeting, round table, seminar, conference, workshop, performance, review, documentary...

The manufacture of the body as an object of consumption (factory-laboratory) is the theme of the new cultural, artistic and scientific project of K3MK Company. Questioning led by Karry Kamal Karry and his team on the theme of the body as an object of consumption, FabriKaCorps has the ambition to lead a cultural, artistic and intellectual reflection shared with the public, the different actors and the different European cultural structures, over a three-year period.

This cultural project, which is both interactive and multidisciplinary, is a real impetus for K3MK Company. It proposes to explore and highlight the relationship we have today with our bodies and those of others. A genuine process of research and participative creation, FabriKaCorps and the Media Lab Project also proposes to work on the study and development of cultural and educational actions in order to encourage the emergence of new amateur and spectator practices and to experiment with different relationships with the public: visiting public, participating public, associated public, etc.

For three years, partners, collaborators and audiences will take part in the reflections on the making of the body and will work on the development of various projects in a space of participation and documentation (physical space and digital space). The intersection of different actors, the varied recovery of their testimonies, and the various angles of treatment of the information, make the interest of this work and will find an echo in the choreographic creation Hum. E. En - The Naked Monkeys of the Gods, which will attempt to reflect the project in all its complexity.
