The Great Sloterdijk Project

On an initiative of K3MK Company, and the K3+ & Co (commissioning) and Lab Media Project (cultural mediation laboratory), in partnership with festivals, theatres, centres, schools, universities, galleries, contemporary art museums, libraries, media libraries, is launching a call for participation in the project entitled Grand Chantier Sloterdijk.

For more than twenty years, Peter Sloterdijk has been taking an ironic and highly demanding look at our times through a work that is as brilliant as it is polemical at times, and which has brought him to the forefront of the media in his country and across Europe.

To explore his work, Karry Kamal Karry invites artists and researchers to open up to the entire thought of a man who, for him, is the most interesting author of today - Peter Sloterdijk. There will be confrontation: rereadings of the great works of the past in the light of the present world, and texts of today that attempt to grasp the great problems of our time or simply to resonate with the changing structures of our contemporary psyches. Texts and "stage writing" naturally, since they are at the heart of current theatrical practices.

The Great Sloterdijk Project  - is a multidisciplinary and participative research and creation process located on the European territory. During three years, K3MK Company will create with its partners, collaborators and the associated public a stage work, performances, participative workshops, readings, seminars, a webTv, a multimedia device and a documentary.

All of these creations will always be reflexive, i.e. associated with a process of research and theorization. is intended to be a committed and political initiative, expressing social issues through art. Moreover, the process of creation and multidisciplinary research is not predetermined: although it follows broad guidelines from the outset, the Grand Chantier Sloterdijk will above all be the result of the collective implementation of such a process, bringing together practitioners, theorists and the public around the project.

Open to a diversity of artistic and scientific practices, this call for applications is addressed to researchers and artists: dancers, actors, musicians, singers, visual artists, performers, video artists, photographers, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians, musicians. s, video artists, photographers, writers, philosophers, sociologists, doctors, architects, designers, stylists... and invites them to take up the theme of the "Grand Chantier Sloterdijk" echoing our world, its contemporary issues and its relationship with the work of Peter Sloterdijk, in the framework of the multidisciplinary research-creation project organized by the "K3+ & Co / Ensemble Art Performance / Lab Media Project" of K3MK Company from September 2023 to December 31, 2026.

This multidisciplinary research-creation programme of K3MK Company wishes to initiate reflection on the work of Peter Sloterdijk, to share the highest philosophical and artistic demands and the taste for audacity with an ever more diverse and vast public, the production of new shows questioning the diffusion in the social fabric of a requirement of realization of actions and works by developing cycles of workshops, conferences, readings, as well as debates where the topicality of questions which exceed our borders resounds, it is the direction of our project which we want to open.

We hope that the Grand Chantier Sloterdijk will contribute to changing things and, without freezing art in impossible accessibilities, will give a real impetus towards a better representation of diversity in this project.
