The Workshop in Creation

Genève - Lausanne - Paris - Lyon - Marseille - Evian

Sept 22 - June 23

The creative research process of K3MK Company combines performance, dance, theatre, music  and visual arts. Karry Kamal Karry is always looking for a state of being, a right and intense physical presence in and on the body of his artists, and encourages them to act on stage based on these real physical states and sensations.

With Creative ChoreOsophy (creative art) Karry Kamal Karry has created a method to prepare his artists for the stage. These guidelines for the performer have become the basis of his pedagogy and are concretely reflected in his work.

This process of exploration is intended to intensify and structurally improve the search for the performers' potential for physical interpretation and presence. The exploration of the evocative power of the body as a whole is a common thread here, as well as the physical potential of the body in transformation, change, mutation, which he calls "the Triad of Change". Karry Kamal Karry attaches great importance to the breath, to the use of the energy flow in continnium, organic and to the joints from head to toe and from toe to head.

Ready to share his vision of the performing arts, of the body and the technique he has developed, Karry Kamal Karry organises and leads the Ateliers des Corps, the Chantiers des Corps and the Ateliers en Création (multidisciplinary) in order to allow everyone to rediscover themselves, to enter into themselves more deeply, and to reappropriate the reality and meaning of gesture.

The workshops and workshops proposed by Karry Kamal Karry are based on his research into the body.

This process, which he has developed through his creations, touches on the knowledge of being. Born from a general questioning of man and his relationship with the world, it is presented as a means of recovering one's own body and gradually entering into a closer relationship with it.

It is therefore a singular experience whose aim is to decondition the body, so that it escapes the sedimentations of which it is the deposit, and to make it, in other words, progressively aware of what it is made of, layers of culture and necessities, in order to access more freedom and meaning.

The workshop of bodies proposes to each one to move away from his object body or his tool body, to explore it and to listen to it through his own sensations as a companion and living body, to consolidate its own form, and to look at it then more deeply, to be able to feel little by little the gesture, and acting, to give it its meaning, renewed but just to oneself for oneself.

Cycle of workshops I Dance - Theatre - Music - Improvisation

A programme of workshops on weekends and school holidays open to everyone to experiment with their body.

To take care of oneself and others, the Creative Art & Art Therapy weekends question the body and notions of well-being.
Experienced or novice, each workshop is open so that everyone can work on their own journey for a weekend and experiment with the artists of K3MK Company or outside the walls...

In 2023, we will embark on the Body Workshops, the Body Workshops, the Workshops in Creation (multidisciplinary) etc.

This programme of workshops will be completed in the autumn by another cycle, with the European project FabriKaCorps - the manufacture of the body as a consumer object.

During these workshops, which last several days, the artist's body becomes a body-being that explores and materializes the transition between action and interpretation - its state of being-presence. Imagination and body awareness are gradually intensified and the performer is challenged to reach a state of physical transformation.
